3 New Hires for Ultrax2020!

Ultrax2020 hired 3 Research Associates to work on the project.

  • Aciel Eshky joined Ultrax2020 in September 2017. Prior to this, she worked as a senior software engineer at Quantics Biostatistics where she developed a commercial software for the statistical modelling and analysis of Bioassay data. Aciel received her PhD in Informatics from the University of Edinburgh in 2014. She will work on the Technology Track of the Ultrax2020 project with Steve Renals, Korin Richmond, and Sam Ribeiro.
  • Ellie Sugden joined the Ultrax2020 project in December 2017. Prior to this, she completed her PhD at the University of Sydney, Australia investigating parent involvement in intervention for childhood speech sound disorders. She has also worked as a speech and language therapist in Australia. Ellie will be working on the Clinical Track of the Ultrax2020 project with Joanne Cleland at the University of Strathclyde.
  • Sam Ribeiro joined the Ultrax2020 project in September 2017. He recently completed his PhD in Speech Processing from the University of Edinburgh. Sam will be working in the School of Informatics in machine learning for speech data. He will work on the Technology Track of the Ultrax2020 project with Steve Renals, Korin Richmond, and Aciel Eshky.
